Why we love Canon's new lenses at Edit Point Video

At Edit Point Video, we are always on the lookout for the latest and greatest equipment to help us create stunning and impactful videos. Recently, we have been experimenting with Canon's new RF lenses, and we are excited to share our experiences with these amazing lenses.

For those who may not be familiar, RF lenses are a new type of lens designed for Canon's full-frame mirrorless cameras. These lenses offer a number of benefits over traditional EF lenses, including a shorter back focus distance, a larger image circle, and faster autofocus. In other words, they provide better performance and more flexibility when shooting video.

One of the key features of RF lenses is their ability to produce sharp, detailed images with beautiful bokeh (the aesthetic quality of the out-of-focus areas in a photograph or video). This makes them ideal for shooting portraits, close-ups, and other footage where a shallow depth of field is desired.

At Edit Point Video, we have been using RF lenses alongside our Cine lenses to capture a wide range of footage. From interviews and b-roll to product shots and music videos, RF lenses have proven to be a valuable addition to our arsenal.

Overall, we are extremely impressed with Canon's new RF lenses, and we are excited to continue using them on our future projects.
